Mastering the Art and Science behind Negotiation

Negotiation is a dialogue between one or more people with the aim of reaching a consensus over an issue or issues where conflict exists. In business, negotiation skills are important in both informal day-to-day interactions and formal transactions.

In the recent Negotiation Advantage workshop in Singapore, participants from RHQ, IS and MX came together for a day of learning, sharing and networking. This workshop primarily focused on negotiation skills used in securing agreements and alongside various “Buy-In Negotiation Strategies and Tactics” one can use in negotiations.

Participants were given the opportunity to practice these negotiation skills and tactics to gain a certain level of confidence. Safe to say, the session was highly engaging with participants debating with one another through workshop exercises. It was definitely an enjoyable experience for the participants and we’re glad they found the session useful and professionally conducted.

As Henry Ford once said, “Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young”.
